Netflix wraps up 2021 on a high note, releasing two new Indian Original series and the Original Malayalam superhero film Minnal Murali, which got a high profile release on Christmas Eve. Here are all the new Indian movies and TV series added to Netflix in December 2021.

Akshay Kumar in the spotlight Sooryavanshi as the counterterrorism officer tasked with stopping the attack on a sleeper cell in Mumbai. This is the fourth film in the film “Cop Universe” from director Rohit Shetty. The first movie – Singham, with Ajay Devgn – is also on Netflix. While Sooryavanshi has several dialogue options besides the original Hindi sound, they must be chosen from the movie menu (unlike other Indian titles which have separate entries for each language).

Based on a true story, Dulquer Salmaan plays the eponymous fugitive in a plot that embellishes a notorious case of murder and insurance fraud in Kerala in the 1980s. Originally filmed in Malayalam, Kurup has separate Netflix entries for its other four dialogue options.

Officer Kasturi Dogra (Raveena Tandon) is about to leave on leave when a French tourist goes missing in the Himalayan foothills. Is the disappearance of the woman political or supernatural? This Scandinavian noir-style Indian crime drama has yet to be officially renewed, but it looks like a good fit for a second season.

Married couple Arya and Shruthi – he a popular novelist and she a startup founder – announce their impending divorce at a party that reveals the absurdities of their high society lives. Decoupled is the second Netflix Original project from series creator Manu Joseph after his 2020 film Serious men.
Chhota Bhim (2021)

Season 14 of the Chhota Bhim The series finds the brave little superhero defending the villagers of Dholakpur from evil with the help of his loyal friends.
