Doctor Strange artwork in the Multiverse of Madness shows Gargantos

New promo art for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gives a new look at Gargantos.

The trailer for the next Marvel Studios movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features exciting new images. With a filmmaker like Sam Raimi at the helm, the film seeks to evoke some of the director’s horror sensibilities as seen in his iconic evil Dead movies and even in his iconic Spider Man trilogy. The film also seeks to explore gruesome new characters, including Gargantos.

In the comics, Gargantos is a giant tentacled sea monster, and from the teaser he seems like a big threat to Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez). Seeing a literally larger-than-life character like Gargantos in live-action form in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is pretty exciting to behold.

Brand new promotional artwork for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been revealed. One of the most intriguing images involves Gargantos, giving the giant sea monster a particularly striking icon:

Many expecting to see a new Super Bowl TV spot for the sequel later today, it will be exciting to see if we get another look at Gargantos in action. If the first trailer that debuted at the end of Spider-Man: No Coming Home was an indication, we are in for something mysterious and full of action!

Here is the synopsis of the upcoming film:
